What is it?

You can now force customers to tick a check box declaring that they agree to your terms and conditions before they complete an order:

How do I do this?

In order to do this, you'll first need to create a page on your website where your terms and conditions are listed – this should be done through your website management system.

Once that's published, make a note of the page's address and head to Settings > System Setup > Custom Website Messages. Tick the check box named and add the text you want to include:

To add any formatting, you'll need to use Wikitext markup; this is a way to easily format content that works with the styling (CSS) made by your web designers.

In order to add a link that opens in a new page, you'll want to use the following Wikitext:

By checking this box, you agree to our #(newWindow=AddressOfYourT&CsPage)terms and conditions#

NOTE: as well as adding links, you can format text further using Wikitext  – more information on how you can use this can be found in our article on Website Content.
