This article will guide you through the steps needed to let Users with restricted Internet access Spektrix. We’ll give you information on authorising Internet access by Fully Qualified Domain Name (preferred) and IP address (not recommended).
Spektrix is a cloud based solution and requires Internet access. If your organisation restricts Internet access, or only allows access to certain IP addresses, this could prevent you from accessing Spektrix.
What do I need to do?
If you restrict Internet access within your organisation to only authorised sites, you’ll need to make some exceptions to let your Users access Spektrix.
You can make these exceptions using the following methods:
- Authorising using Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN)
- Authorising by IP address (not recommended)

Ask your IT team to authorise the addresses below. This ensures that your system and all its features function correctly.

Authorising by IP address
If you have to authorise using IP addresses, you’ll need to ask your IT team to add IP address exceptions. This ensures that your system and all its features function correctly.
