Customising the Payment Terminal
Our Support Team can customise the Payment Terminals beyond their default settings.
You can request to customise all or specific Payment Terminals within your organisation.
Please have the following information ready when you contact Support.
- Your Adyen Merchant name/ID (SP_XXXXX)
- The serial number (s/n) of the Payment Terminal(s)
You can customise the following on your Payment Terminal:
Payment Terminal Logo
By default, the Adyen branding appears on the Payment Terminal:
You can request to add your own logo to replace this. The logo must be in the following format:
- Dimensions: 320 x 450 pixels
- File type: .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg or .png
- File size: 512 KB (maximum)
Receipt logo
You can customise the printed receipts to include your organisation logo.
The logo will be displayed at the top of the receipt for both cardholder and merchant copies. The logo must be in the following format:
- Colour: Black and white
- Dimensions: 384 x 240 px
- File type: .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg or .png
- File size: 256 KB maximum
Receipt header lines 1 & 2
You can use Header Lines to add information to your receipts. For example. your organisation name and address. This can help your Customers identify what the receipt relates to.
You can add 1 or 2 header lines. These appear at the top of the receipt, and below the logo if you’ve requested to add one. For example, you may want to display your organisation name above the logo and the address below.
The following information is required for each header line:
- Text: The text you want to display (100 characters maximum)
- Text style: Bold or Normal
- Line breaks: You may want to display your address across several lines
Receipt Printing
When you take a Payment, a cardholder and merchant receipt will print automatically whether a payment is authorised, declined, cancelled or void.
You can request whether you want to print receipts for any combination of the following:
- Merchant Receipts: Payments, Refunds or Void Transactions
- Cardholder Receipts: Payments, Refunds or Void Transactions
You can also request to turn off Prompt before Printing. This means you won't see a prompt to print the Cardholder Receipt once an in-person card transaction is complete.
Transaction limits
You can specify the minimum and maximum amounts that the Payment Terminals can accept for in-person payments.
