The Saveo C750 is a compact ticket scanner designed for scanning QR codes and barcodes. The Saveo C750 adds scanning functionality to a mobile device or Windows PC. The Saveo C750 captures the QR code/barcode information and sends this to the Spektrix Scanning Interface on your device’s web browser.

In this article we’ll cover the steps to set up the scanner and connect it to a mobile device using Bluetooth, or to a PC using a wireless or wired connection.

To set up the Saveo C750, you’ll need to scan some barcodes from the Saveo Quick Setup Guide. We recommend scanning barcodes from the Quick Setup Guide included with the scanner. If you need a copy, download and print it from this article.

TIP: The barcodes in this article are displayed as a reference to their placement in the Quick Setup Guide.

We recommend that you do not scan the barcodes directly from this article when reading on a monitor or mobile device. The scanner may be unable to detect the barcode due to the scanning light reflecting onto the screen.

Which connection type should I use?

The Saveo C750 scanner can be connected using three methods:

  • Bluetooth: Suitable for mobile devices, for example, a mobile phone/cellphone, tablet or iPad
  • 2.4GHz wireless: Suitable for a wireless connection to a PC
  • Wired Connection: Suitable for a wired connection to a PC

Charging the Saveo C750 before use

Before you begin setup, we recommend fully charging the C750. To charge the scanner:

  1. Connect the USB-C end of the charging cable to the C750.

  2. Plug the USB-A end of the cable to your computer’s USB port or a USB charger.

  3. Power on the scanner by sliding the switch to the ON position:
