When scanning tickets or Digital Customer Passes with a ticket scanner or mobile device, you’ll use the Spektrix Scanning Interface (also known as the Scanning Interface) to check a customer’s ticket and record their entry to an Event.
What is the Scanning Interface?
The Scanning Interface is part of your Spektrix system that you’ll access on your ticket scanner or mobile device. When a ticket or Digital Customer Pass is scanned, the scanner captures the information from the QR code/barcode.
This information is transmitted to Spektrix via the Scanning Interface to check ticket and customer validity. A response is then displayed in the Scanning Interface depending on the results of the scan.
