Criteria Groups let you preset Customer Criteria that you may use often across different features. For example, when adding Customer eligibility to an Offer, you can use a single Criteria Group containing all Memberships instead of having to add each Membership individually. You can then use this Criteria Group in other features, including Priority Booking, Customer Groups, Lock Type Eligibility and Pre- and Post-Event Emails.
In this article, we’ll explain how to set up and add Criteria to a Criteria Group. You’ll also find information on how to use Criteria Groups as Customer eligibility.
What are Criteria Groups?
Criteria Groups save regularly used Customer Criteria based on shared information or characteristics, such as Memberships, Tags or Attributes.
Once you’ve set up Criteria Groups, you can use them as eligibility for:
- Priority Booking
- Offers
- Customer Groups
- Lock Type Eligibility
- Waiving Commissions
- Donations in the Basket/Cart
- Pre- and Post-Event Emails
How to set up Criteria Groups
Criteria Groups are set up in the same way as Customer Eligibility is set up in other features.
Criteria you can use in Criteria Groups:
- Tags
- Attributes
- Memberships
- Ticket Subscriptions
- Promotion Codes
- Fixed Series Subscriptions
- Contact Preferences

TIP: To set up Criteria Groups in the Admin Interface, you’ll need the General Administrator Role. If you don’t have this Role, ask the Settings Administrator in your organisation to add this Role to your User Account.
To set up Criteria Groups, follow these steps:

Go to Admin Interface, > Customers > Criteria Groups. You'll see a list of all active Criteria Groups in your system. To see inactive Criteria Groups, click Inactive.

Create a new Criteria Group by clicking Add.

In the Add Criteria Group screen, enter a clear and descriptive Name (required). You can also add an optional Description:

How to use Criteria Groups
Once you’ve set up Criteria Groups, you can use them as eligibility for:

- Customer Groups
