In this article we’ll guide you through selling Merchandise in Spektrix. We’ll cover adding additional Merchandise and removing Merchandise from the Basket/Cart. You’ll also find links to other resources which you may find helpful.

Where to find Merchandise

You’ll find Merchandise in the Other tab of the Sales Interface:

 

How to add Merchandise to the Basket/Cart

To add Merchandise to the Basket/Cart, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Merchandise from the list. Alternatively, If you know the name of the Merchandise, enter a partial name and click Search or press Enter:

  2. Adjust the quantity by typing into the Qty field or by using the + and – buttons. Click the blue Basket/Cart button to add the item(s):

     

  3. You’ll see an orange logo next to any Merchandise in the Basket/Cart:

     

 

Selecting a Delivery Method for Merchandise

When adding Merchandise to the Basket/Cart, you’ll need to select a Delivery Method.

If you add Merchandise and Tickets to the Basket/Cart, you’ll need to choose the Delivery Method for each item. You can choose CoBO (Care of Box Office)/Will Call or Postal Delivery for Merchandise:

To sell Merchandise, you’ll need to have a Merchandise Ticket design set up. Read The Ticket Design Tool article for more information.

Once you’ve added Merchandise and any other items to the Basket/Cart and you’re ready to proceed, you'll need to add a payment to compete the sale. Read Adding Payments to a Transaction for guidance on these steps.

 

How to increase the quantity of Merchandise already in the Basket/Cart

If you want to add an extra item of a Merchandise type already in your Basket/Cart, follow these steps:

  1. Leave the Stock Item Name field blank and click In Basket:

     

  2. Under Merchandise search, you’ll only see the Merchandise in your Basket/Cart:

     

  3. Adjust the quantity by typing into the Qty field or by using the + and – buttons. Click the blue Basket/Cart button to add additional Merchandise:

     

Once you’ve added Merchandise and any other items to the Basket/Cart and you’re ready to proceed, you'll need to add a payment to compete the sale. Read Adding Payments to a Transaction for guidance on these steps.

 

How to remove Merchandise from the Basket/Cart

To remove a Merchandise item from the Basket/Cart, follow these steps:

  1. Hover over the Merchandise logo and check the box which appears:

     

  2. Click the dropdown arrow beside Reserve, and select Delete:
